Cookies and consent
Last updated:
This website sets no cookies today. No analytics, no advertising, none of any kind. No measurement tool is connected, so visiting this site sends no third-party request and leaves nothing stored in your browser.
This page exists anyway because the day that changes, you are entitled to hear it from us rather than find out on your own.
What will happen once analytics exists
It will tell us which pages are visited and where people arrive from. That is, whether this site is useful — not to follow you around the internet.
It will run on prior, explicit consent:
- Until you press accept, nothing loads and no request is sent.
- Continuing to browse does not count as accepting, and declining costs exactly what accepting costs: one click, on a button of the same size.
- You will be able to change your mind at any time, from this same page.
And these three commitments hold from now:
- We will not share that data with advertisers.
- We will not cross-reference it with your GAIO account.
- We will not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Before switching anything on, this page will state which tool it is and in which country it stores the data. While it does not say so, there is none.
This website and the application are separate
This policy covers gaio.gg, the website. Telemetry in the desktop application is explained in the privacy policy, has its own consent and is managed from the application itself. One does not switch on the other.
